Good Source of Maps

Providing maps for your guests is essential and to sit down and spend at least 10 minutes with your guest soon after they arrive is highly recommended. You should show the places to go to and also the places to avoid.

This makes it evident to your guest that you are there to assist and to make their stay as enjoyable as possible. Having just one map is a no no as its gets tatty and worn quickly. Our advice is to find a company that has maps and that would be more than happy to give you maps in bulk as they will get advertising out of it of course. Best part is, its free for you.

A win win in my book!

From another airbnb’er we found GoCar maps in Barcelona. When we called in to ask if we could take some, the girl said she would go and get the ‘map guy’. After a few minutes of waiting, map guy appeared…..

Map Guy:  How will you get them home?

Me: We’ll carry them

Map Guy: You Sure?

Me: Erm yep……

He then proceeds to hand us a whole box of maps. Good work Map Guy…… Excellent in fact!

Make sure the map is good and if possible (like Go Cars) has discount offers for restaurants and bars included.

Happy map hunting,

Phil

      Thanks.

We always spend 10 minutes going through the map with guests just to give them their bearings before they head out.
