Quick Mirror Tip

When staying in a fancy hotel you will notice that the mirrors do not steam up even after the hottest of showers has been had. These mirrors have a heater behind them to ensure they are clear. We too have mirrors that do not steam up, but I can assure you, its not by having over priced reflective glass!

Once you have cleaned the mirror put a couple of drops of washing up liquid on to some kitchen towel with a little water and then wipe over the whole mirror with it. Once it dries it will not steam up after showers and baths. Genius:)

It turns out this tip was handed to my mum by my Grandad to help her solve steamed up shop windows, so I can not take credit for this one.

Happy shinning!

Phil

What would “washing up liquid” be in American English?

      Hey Eric,

That would be dishwashing liquid for our American cousins…

      Good luck..
